Brisbane Convoy for Kids

Brisbane Convoy for Kids | Queensland House Removals

The Brisbane Convoy for Kids is an annual event featuring a convoy of trucks to raise funds for children’s charities in Brisbane. The line of trucks travel from Larapinta to Redcliffe, and is a sight that can’t be missed! This voluntarily organised event has been running every year since 2013, and while the convoy is the main attraction, there are a number of other activities that the community could get involved in, including a truck show, family entertainment, and fireworks.

Early last Saturday November 4th, a fleet of Queensland House Removers trucks departed to support this cause. With around 700 trucks participating, it was an honour to be a part of this iconic fundraiser. We were particularly proud and excited to have our QHR61 Mack Titan truck on the road, which has seen a full restoration – a project which took the better part of 5 years! With every nut bolt and washer replaced, our restored truck looked like a dime on its first trip since its makeover.

At Queensland House Removers, we understand the importance of ensuring our equipment is top-notch. We take pride in our work and strive to provide the best service to our clients. We stand out as a united team of fully accredited and insured builders dedicated to delivering top-tier house moving and removal services throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales, and the Redland Bay Islands area. At QHR, our commitment to excellence is evident in our work as we strive to provide unparalleled service to our clients.

Recognising the crucial role of top-notch equipment, we’ve made significant investments in modern hydraulic tools, including state-of-the-art prime movers and four-axle trailers. Coupled with the expertise of our highly skilled team, this allows us to safely transport homes to extensive locations.

Under the leadership of John Wright, our team is driven by a sense of community responsibility. We are proud to have been a part of the Brisbane Convoy for Kids and looks forward to supporting more such events in the future.
